About the NADC

What are the aims & objectives of the NADC? 

  • To drive more business both as a direct result of being a member in the region you operate in and by creating new channels such as a National Helpline
  • To make sure the views of the drainage industry are put to Government, its agencies, local authorities and other relevant organisations
  • To provide training, certification and to promote drainage professionals at all times
  • To provide commentary, guidance and advice on regulatory developments of relevance to members


Why should I join the NADC? - For the Industry, By the Industry

Until the NADC, there has never been a recognised body that solely has the interests of the drainage contracting contracting industry at the heart of its DNA.

The NADC is made up entirely of people actively working in the industry.  In other words we, the drainage industry, all have a vested interest in securing a say in our future.

  • An industry connected by a website that displays your competencies, has more than 2,500 visits per month and part qualifies leads by only offering your services in the areas you operate

Who can join and how much does it cost?

All drainage contractors are welcome - together with suppliers, consultants, advisors and trainees...

Annual membership is only £350 - less than £1 per calendar day.

There are only 2 pre-requisites to joining the NADC
  • A commitment to full certification - which means members are expected to commence or further certification within 3 months of joining
  • Being a solvent and sufficiently insured to carry out the work you do.  We require a minimum of £2m public liability insurance, uplifted if and when specific jobs require it

How will the subscriptions be invested?

The NADC is a not for profit organisation.  This means there are no shareholder dividends to be paid and so all funds are dedicated to moving the association forward.

Our aims are to:
  • Attract as many members as we can to build a strong association
  • Create a recognised voice for our membership so we can a have a say in the future of our industry
  • Build a community around our website for the benefit of members in the form of more work
